CAMO

AWARD OF TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT CLERK CONTRACT
FOR DEPARTMENT OF THE US AIRFORCE (USAF)
AT BROOKE ARMY MEDICAL CENTER

 

Glacier Technologies was awarded a two year contract for $3,091,968 (one base year and one option year) to provide non-personal Telephone Appointment Clerks (TAC) for the Department of the US Air Force (USAF) at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas (also referred to as the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF)), to include all clinics, annexes and potential temporary locations with other local entities, military or civilian (VA, BAMC or local hospitals) to which WHMC may have affiliations.

The Consult and Appointment Management Office (CAMO) is managed by the USAF at WHMC. The location of the services are performed at BAMC, and may include coordination and occasional travel to WHMC, Randolph Air Force Base (RAFB), or Brooks Air Force Base (BAFB) to accomplish CAMO business. Services require the potential manning of seventy (70) phone lines during the specified hours of performance. Glacier Technologies is teamed with SAIC and SpecPro, Inc. to perform this new effort.

  • Glacier Technologies provides 34 of the 60 appointment desk personnel – Civil Service employees man remaining positions.
  • Scheduling of appointments and consults for all clinics, annexes and potential temporary locations with other local entities, military or civilian.
