USDA FS Integration Services

In September of 2005, the Glacier Technologies team was awarded a contract by the USDA Forest Service for the delivery of integration services that would “...maintain the integrity and currency of its existing computing base, while providing a proven foundation on which to build, and gain further operating efficiencies in the future.” This new contract combined the best talents of Glacier Technologies and IBM’s Forest Service Integration Team to provide IT integration support services during a particularly important and critical time of transition for the Forest Service. For the two years prior to this contract, Glacier Technologies had been a strong provider of quality products and services to the Forest Service through its Server Hardware and Enterprise Software contract and since 1995, IBM had provided a wide range of integration services and products to the Forest Service as it modernized its nationwide Information Technology (IT) infrastructure.
